Can I share a moodboard and get client review in one tool?
Yes. A Nugo project holds the references, the moodboard, the brief and script, and the shot list built from those references, and the client reviews and approves all of it on one link. On the day, the same shot list runs Shoot Mode on your phone.
Three tools for one shoot.
A video team often keeps references in a moodboard app like Milanote or Pinterest, sends work for review in a tool like Frame.io, and tracks the job in something like Asana. The client gets three links, feedback arrives in email, and nobody is sure which board was approved.
The usual setup, and Nugo.
| Topic | The usual setup | In Nugo |
|---|---|---|
| Visual references | A separate moodboard app the client may not have access to. | A moodboard canvas in the project, next to the script and shots. |
| Client feedback | A review tool for files, plus email about the references. | Pins on the still or the shot, and comments on script lines, on one link. |
| The plan for the shoot | A task tracker or a spreadsheet, kept up to date by hand. | A shot list of frames with the still, framing and kit for each setup. |
| What was approved | Pieced together from three tools and an email thread. | A locked snapshot of every page, kept as the version they approved. |
References, script, shot list and client sign-off in one project.
- 01
Collect and tag references
Drop stills, paste links from YouTube, Figma and the rest, or search Unsplash, then tag each one by purpose.
- 02
Plan the shots from them
Create a shot from a reference, with its still linked, beside the brief and the script in the same project.
- 03
One link for the client
They open the locked pages on one link and pin comments on the thing itself.
Straight answers.
For production work, yes. The moodboard canvas takes stills and links from YouTube, Figma and the web, and it lives in the same project the client reviews.
Nugo is for pre-production and the shoot itself: the references, the script, the shot list, getting them approved and ticking shots off on set. Clients comment on stills, shots and script lines rather than on a timeline of a finished cut.
Yes. A locked moodboard, script or shot list appears on the review link once it has something in it. Empty pages stay off the link.
Plan the next shoot in one place, not across ten apps.
New commercial projects open with Brief, Creative Direction, Moodboard, Shot List, and Client Review already in place.
