Where the usual tools get in the way.
Nugo is pre-production planning and client approval software for video and photo shoots. These are the questions production teams ask when a stack of separate tools slows the shoot down, answered with what Nugo does.
How do I hide work in progress from clients?
Clients only ever see the pages you've locked, never the draft.
Can I share a moodboard and get client review in one tool?
References, script, shot list and client sign-off in one project.
Can clients review without creating an account?
One link, opened in the browser. No sign-up, no seat, no login.
Nugo and the tools you know.
Nugo vs Milanote
Milanote is a flexible visual board for any creative project. Nugo is built for shoots: the moodboard turns into a shot list, the client approves the plan on a link, and the same list runs on your phone on set.
Nugo vs StudioBinder
StudioBinder is a full production suite: scripts, breakdowns, schedules and call sheets. Nugo does the creative plan before all that: references, the moodboard, a shot list built from them, and the client's approval, with the list on your phone on set.
Nugo vs Boords
Boords is storyboard and animatic software with strong client sign-off. Nugo starts earlier, from references and a moodboard, turns them into a shot list, and gets that plan approved, then runs it on your phone on set.
Plan the next shoot in one place, not across ten apps.
New commercial projects open with Brief, Creative Direction, Moodboard, Shot List, and Client Review already in place.
